Important Notice: Registration Requirements for Self-Imported Regulated Electrical Appliances

In accordance with the latest regulations from the National Environment Agency (NEA), effective from 1 July 2026, all consumers or companies self-importing regulated electrical appliances from overseas must register with the NEA and obtain approval before the goods can be shipped
To ensure smooth customs clearance and shipment of your goods, please strictly adhere to the following regulations:

• Register Before Shipping: Shipment will only commence after you submit your application and receive the official Confirmation of Registration (COR) from the National Environment Agency (NEA).

• Official Portal: Please submit through NEA ELS Online Portal (https://go.gov.sg/elsportal) to complete your registration free of charge.
• This regulation applies to the following six categories:
    ◦ Air-conditionersRefrigerators
    ◦ Clothes dryers
    ◦ Televisions
    ◦ Water heaters for household use
    ◦ Three-phase induction motors

Please verify your product model and complete the registration on the official website before purchasing or arranging shipment. Failure to comply may result in customs detention or regulatory fines.
